Microsoft is pissing me off...

So, one of the new updates to Windows updates IE 6.0 so that you can no longer run ActiveX controls with out pressing OK, or clicking 2x on a flash file.

I am constantly getting this error message:

activex-control-error.jpg
Click to run an ActiveX control on this webpage.
--
FIX:
Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs. Check Show Updates. Scroll down to update KB912945. Remove it. Restart.
-- (edit Mar 17)

I cannot find the location in IE to turn this 'feature' off and this happens at all the big websites, including apple's quicktime page.

Turns out Microsoft lost a lawsuit with Eolas and have just implemented a new system which makes the user press OK. What is RETARDED is that there is NO option of NOT clicking OK!!! so even if the object was BAD, I still have to click ok.

Also, on my websites that I make, maintain etc, I now have to change how I embed flash files and mov files. SUCH A PAIN!

ggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrr.... I AM NOT HAPPY.

Some of my pages require you click that 5 times before the page will even load! Thank you Microsoft.

News article on this
Microsoft posted instructions on how to get around this for webmasters but its such an annoyance.
Slashdot Article from a few months ago... didn't think this would effect me at all.
